Every aspect of the The Serenity Hotel is true to its name. From the minute we arrived, the staff did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible while also giving us maximum privacy. It truly felt as though we were vacationing in our own private condo in paradise.
The whitewashed walls, sleek architecture and minimalist style add to the overall tranquility of the resort, which reminded me of a Greek villa. Though the resort is in close proximity to all of the island’s main attractions, it’s location sits just far enough away for peace and quiet.
The patio is spacious, and offers a stunning view of the island. After a long day at the beach, which is only a very short walk down the road, it was nice to come back and relax in the hot tub with a glass of wine and take in the picturesque views.
I appreciate that the owners did not cut corners on costs and really sprang for the best possible furnishing and appliances to make the stay ultra luxurious and comfortable. Besides the obvious perks, (easy access to restaurants and beaches, beautiful patio views, a welcoming staff) the rooms are large and come with a variety of amenities like flat screen TVs, private patios and a mini fridge. Our bathroom was large and the walk-in shower had terrific water pressure. But perhaps the best part of our room was the incredible beds. Our unit came with two king-size memory-foam mattresses that melted to the shape of your body. I honestly got some of the best sleep of my life while I was there.
It’s not a matter of if I will stay at Serenity again, but when. I can’t wait to go back as soon as possible, and I would gladly recommend the resort to anyone looking for the perfect peaceful getaway.
